What is a remote desktop?

A remote desktop is a program or an operating system feature that allows a user to remote in or connect to a computer in another location, see that computer's desktop and interact with it as if it were local.

How To Enable Remote Desktop

 

Ø Search for “Advanced system settings

·       You can type “system” in the search and click on it or from File Explore, right click on “This PC” and select “Properties

 

Ø From this window, scroll down and click on “Advanced system settings



·       You may need admin rights for access

 

Ø From this window, go to “Remote” Tab and make sure all those options highlighted in yellow are checked. Then click Apply
